Figure Drawing: Foreshortening

This image doesn't seem to have much foreshortening
the proportioned don't seem to be correct
there is no shading

We can see the second image has an oblique angle
we can see a lot of foreshortening on the right leg and the arms

You can't see through the ribs so it looks like a block, the proportions on the left leg seem to be fine but the left leg doesn't seem to get smaller as it goes further up the leg to give it better foreshortening, the angle of the hips don't seem to be correct. the toes seem to be too spiked

We can tell the poses are to show the foreshortening clearly by the angles the skeletons are positioned.
all three skeletons have balance by the way there legs and arms hold there body still. we can see some gesture with the way the heads are turned.

Still Life: Composition

The composition works with the drapery and the walls behind the objects
the objects are placed on the rule of thirds because of the positioning
the reflections on the ball shows that there is more in the room than the viewer can
see in the image, this gives a good sense of the environment.
we can see the focal point is the three objects

We do get a sense of depth if there was more objects this could of
made the image have more depth but the drapery complement the depth

The flowers and reflections seems to be done well.
the drapery and flowers needs more shading as everything else has more shading.
the bottle glass doesn't look see through as you can't see the wall behind it
no kissing objects, no orphaned objects and no floating objects

Shading and Lighting

We can tell a cast shadow was case from the light as you cant see behind the cloth so the cloth must of been thick to make the cast shadows and the shadows casted behind the cloth are dark like umbra shadows.

This image looks likes its has a smudging technique which hasn't brought our the contrast as much as the other images.
We can tell that there was no fully black and white colours used, we can also tell that chiaroscuro is implied as you can tell which shadows are on the cloths and which shadows are in the background showing depth and volume. we know only one light source was used as the shadows don't go in multiple directions.

.

From these three images we can tell that charcoal has been used to draw the shading on the cloth texture
the back parts of the cloth has darker hues as the front were light which showed nice contrast between the three images
